DIY HOME DECOR | BUDGET FRIENDLY MAKEOVER | QUICK AND EASY DIY
If you’ve got an awkward corner and five minutes, I’ve got a solution for you!

We found the shelf brackets on Amazon, and we had everything else needed for the project on hand:
-
piece of 1x10 wood cut to 24”
-
black paint (mixed with BB Frösch Paint Transformer—click here for how to make your own chalk/mineral paint)
-
small sponge (we just cut a piece from a large grout sponge)
-
jar of water
We also used:

Faux stain your board with black paint (or any color you want) mixed with BB Frösch. Click here for faux stain directions.

STEP TWO:
Once paint has dried (about 2 min), dark wax with BB Frösch Dark Premium Finishing Wax
STEP THREE:

STEP FOUR:

STEP FIVE:
Step back and admire your handiwork:
